Wife told me she saw the same bottle with the curious George sticker at a local liquor store. Told her no way. May stop by and see if that’s the case and will report back to ban that person
There is no possible way it’s true unless someone did a similar sticker or stole the design, which is very unlikely. I have all the stickers and bottles and people really only started receiving them today.
Putting them straight up is absolutely unfair to the original. It's way more bourbon forward than I'd expect from a rye whiskey but it is fantastic.
Think saz is the BT low rye mash bill, but I noticed same thing. More bourbon on front, but rye comes through on the finish
I was too drunk to recall. LeroyJenkins22 probably has the best memory. I remember creamy vanilla, oak, and cherry with a spicy rye finish.
Yup, fully agree with that pop of vanilla up front. Loved how it transitioned to the finish. Now I want a standard to compare to
Yes, I just took a sip and that is what I get. Also after the rye spice is gone the cherry seems to come back. I remembered more vanilla last time, but not as much today.
Selling something like this would make absolutely 0 sense. The entire point of it is sharing it together. Price you could get it for would probably t be a little more than what you have in it?
also rv12 how you gonna ghost me on the mystery sample, i sent you weller single barrel (its not that good)
Went to a vintage bottle shop yesterday with my buddy, had a Hill & Hill from 74, holy fuck talk about good. Said it basically was an Old Taylor. Stuff was delicious.
at least you had that blue water bottle to stay hydrated, and I am betting that Unicorn saw some things.
I've heard good things, but the price tends to scare me off. I'm not buying many $90+ bottles these days.
This is where I am on that bottle. I enjoy the regular bourbon and rye offerings so much at the price (and the Benash pick is one of the best bottles I’ve had in years) that I can’t justify a 50% price premium. Having said that, I’d really love it if you bought a bottle and gave me a sample. TIA.
