OSU's right tackle had a special talent for false starting so often that officials eventually got tired of calling it.
JSN seems like the kind of guy who NFL scouts/draft media will tear down over the next year because of some perceived weakness (small frame, not a burner or something, idk). I love him as a WR but i wouldn't be surprised if he gets a lot of draft flak. In part because I don't think the two top QBs + Will Anderson + Jalen Carter will really get any.
If Jalen Carter's sack/tackle production doesn't jump significantly, it's going to be kind of interesting to see how tied he is to the rookie production of Walker, Davis and Wyatt.
1. Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State 2. Atlanta Falcons: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama 3. New York Giants: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida
The QBs listed behind Young and CJ are all over the place. There is no certain #3. And who knows if anyone deserves to be slotted in the top 10 right now
No mention of Devin Leary, who has been labeled by at least one person (Dave Doeren) as the best qb in the country
Young, Stroud, Anderson, Carter, Skoronski would have comfortably been in the first round this year imvho
I don't listen to this podcast so maybe this is a joke or bit. But there's a better chance of the Lions winning the Super Bowl next year than 7 QBs going in the first round of next year's (or any other) draft.
Anyone predicting the Falcons to have the #2 pick obviously does t know how the Falcons work. Sure, they may be in line for it most of the year, but they’ll win 4 out of 5 to finish the season for absolutely no reason and end up picking 9th.
Maybe, but I have to think Cooper Kupp having one of the greatest seasons in NFL history for a receiver from that position helps his cause at least a bit there.
Paris Johnson is a lazy pick to add a name from a big school simply because he was a highly ranked recruit. He has potential, but he’s nowhere near that ranking. Munford was the starting LT in 2020, which is why he moved against Michigan. Munford asked the coaches to move inside in 2021 because he thought his NFL career was inside and it made room for NPF (and it hurt Munford in the draft). NPF went third round. Dawand Jones is probably third or fourth round right now. Paris Johnson is probably a second or third rounder, looking to move up.
Paris is a projection but clearly the most talented lineman we’ve had in a long time Was good last year but saying he can be top 5 next year is a bit wild. Probably needs 2 years
You never know with OL coaches, they’re weird. This season Mario Cristobal played our two guards at tackle and our two tackles at guard. It was baffling and made no sense.
What does this mean? He’s 5’11” and 190 lbs (and looks ~175). How is that a really big dude? Or am I missing the joke?
