Cops waited outside the school for 40-60 minutes. 40-60 minutes. In most metro areas, when someone calls 9-1-1 for chest pain, and are found to have a certain type of heart attack, the expectation is that the healthcare team carry them all the way from their own front door-->hospital cath lab with line going into their groin in UNDER 30 minutes. This is meticulously studied, workshopped, refined and drilled to the most minute detail. Like studying the optimal placement of the arrival gurney to shave a precious 2 seconds off. All to hopefully save some 70 year old dude with a baconator lodged in his LAD. In elementary school classrooms, children and teachers are also running meticulous drills. They're trying anything-- anything-- they can to be just a sliver better prepared to hopefully save perhaps just one life int he event of the unimaginable. And yet it somehow took 40-60 fucking minutes for the police, who were there outside the school, to dust the Tim Horton's crumbs off their fat, useless asses and get in there.
