Siap Uvalde Shooter Fired Outside School for 12 Minutes Before Entering The gunman behind the mass shooting at a Uvalde, Texas, elementary school lingered outside the building for 12 minutes firing shots before walking inside and barricading in a classroom where he killed 19 children and two teachers, authorities said in a news conference laying out a new timeline of events. Victor Escalon, a regional director for the Texas Department of Public Safety, said he couldn’t say why no one stopped the deceased gunman, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, from entering the school during that time
The video of the parents begging the cops to go into the building is heartbreaking and infuriating. A half dozen cops pinning down a mom who’s kid may be dead while a dozen more stand around.
Lmao once in a while these people have a sudden realization if this dumb piece of shit can think this way then anyone can
for a second I almost said that no one needs one but I remembered that unfortunately that’s not true. I live a very walkable area so I don’t need one for myself. But, my wife 100% needs one to get work. We shouldn’t need them but cars aren’t a luxury item they are unfortunately 100% a necessity for some.
At this point can this singular shooting contradict every single talking point brought up after the shooting by just using the facts of the shooting? - age doesn’t matter!! He purchased everything (or most?) on the day of 18th birthday - Mental health!!, Texas just denied 200+ million for mental health. - single doors!! A single door kept the officers out by a single person. They had to wait almost an hour to break windows to get other kids out. - More officers! A ton of officers did nothing for almost an hour but handcuff parents. - Look for the online signs, they will tell you! While this is actually true, we need to learn to take them seriously. He literally said he was about to murder kids after shooting his grandma (after saying he was going to shoot his grandma before the school shooting post) - AR-15’s are needed!! The cops didn’t want to engage him because the gun scared them too much? His firepower prevented them from actively engaging him?? He was able to obliterate the kids to the point of needing DNA swabs for identification. - Protect our borders!! The kid was born in North Dakota Feel free to add to this. Those were just off the top of my head in a 2-3 minute stream-of-conscience post. It’s fucking insane.
If people started mass murdering politicians and cops, I promise you legislation would be passed. But it’s kids so who cares
I don't even have words anymore. I tried typing something in response to this, but I'm just broken. I'm so heartbroken for all those parents and their children. And every single fact that comes out is worse and worse.
Jesus. Before the maga era I was very much fuck all politicians on both sides. Then it was fuck the right those evil assholes. Now I’m very much back to fuck all of them
Again, Steve Scalise has been personally shot and still takes hundreds of thousands from the gun lobby. There's no "hitting home" on the issue; they're too far gone.
Something fucking horrible in this country where the minimum wage worker is driving 60 miles to cover the shift of the grieving workers so the rest of the population can get their fuel to go into a job because they aren’t afforded the time to grieve by their company.
something deeply unsettling about a hand on the taser and the other ready to pull up the gun because somebody wants to try to save her baby/ies while somebody with a gun is mowing them down in real time. couldn’t write this shit in a book.
I just don't understand what they're doing. Even if the gop blocks debate on everything, can't schumer essentially force them to stay in DC, even if it's just to fucking stare at each other?
As a political idiot, gridlock/apathy is a feature, not a bug. Of course a whole thing could be made of 20+ kids being murdered, but that would mean action, position, etc. All any of these fucks care about is self preservation.
I would LOVE to hear any interrogating officer/detective when they have somebody they are eyeing for a potential crime that changes up their story the next day or two. You can’t listen to any true-crime podcast/documentary that doesn’t talk about, ‘the story continued to change or not match up with other eye-witnesses...’ Literally the dead opposite approach they take to potential innocent people but we should give them the benefit of the doubt? Fuck each and every one of them.
Sorry but they already have their automated out of office emails set up, please hold this thought for a few weeks
this doesn't work with the actual timeline we know. gunshots were still being heard at 1253 when the first reports of lockdown/shots fired was at like 1145
