Diamond rings must be risky to evaluate/purchase. Assume you only pay for those that have accompanying documentation of grades?
That is correct. This had an appraisal but the large center stone was graded by someone I know personally so I trusted it. still on appraisals go down a grade on the chart
Appraisals are always high because consumers get higher replacement value and carriers get higher premiums?
We ask what they're looking for and then we try and match it. this one particularly they asked for $900. I dont think they'll be picking these items up
Makes me wonder what my ex got for her ring. Also Nole0515 I think it was you that said I should just list my band on FB for like half what we paid for it?
I forgot what I paid for it. It was a lab grown diamond, not a diamond alternate but it was still cheaper than a natural diamond. I wonder how they tell the difference. Everything I read about then was they are almost identical to natural diamonds.
Sucks for her then. Seems like the resale is bad for the same reason they are cheaper to buy new... can grow them in weeks. Everything else about them is the same as far as composition?
First of all I don’t think Jax meant anything malicious by it. And it really depends on how you feel about certain things. I think it’s a fine line especially when I read the gif as the person who posted it saying it. I don’t think white people should drop any version on that word. lol
I definitely try and not use any version of it Irl or online anymore. Just used that gif. Definitely don't want to sidetrack the thread either.
I think beo knows me well enough to know what I was using the gif for. Probably just messing with me mostly.
I know a guy who did this. His ex-wife tried to sell it after the divorce and found out her two carat diamond ring was cubic zirconia.
