haha sure, I developed a new course this term called the future of markets. We read five books about different potential futures for the economy. One is theological, one is pro-tech, one is Luddite, etc.
it was Wednesday nights— ended yesterday— and we met at a local pub. It was all seniors and grad students. A lot of fun, though some of the arguments were rough. Like, some people have faith in a future that’s Christian. Others have faith in a future of tech paradise. Rough to criticize and challenge those.
I *almost* added in my post that I am looking forward to reading even though it might depress the fuck out of me.
Honestly Iron Mickey is the only person I know to have met me and not have faith in mankind, clearly we need to meet in person
Was texting about Rittenhouse visiting A&M with my A&M friend a few weeks back... please let this happen.
Boy, that nortex guy couldn’t be more wrong. That’s exactly what I want - and not just for kids but for him too. Because he obviously has no understanding of any of those things but self-confidence. And he’s so confidently wrong.
“I said I was going to there and that the campus was beautiful. I never said I was going to attend classes or pay tuition.”
