I was hoping for someone a bit more athletically imposing than Tielemans but he does seem to fit what Arteta wants on the left in that midfield 3. it's strange that other than him and Zinchenko I haven't heard another realistic name for the midfield. could see someone coming out of nowhere with the way this team have been operating.
also interesting to see what happens with Xhaka. they touched on it on the arsecast extra, but he may be willing to stay and fight for his spot but he's not going to be happy as second choice.
First time I’d be alright with him since the first year he was brought in. I trust what Mikel is trying to do. Also on your point, yes we’re very tight lipped. It’s weird though still because all sides need to be tight. Will be interesting to see if the market moves this off-season or if it remains dead.
