Nothing worse than killing 2 PMCs and realizing there is still 2 left outside. Also, doing SCAV raids where the rogues are is the best thing we’ve done since starting
I’m feeling pretty good about starting over now. It’s going to be chaos, probably? Best advice so far has been to go to the Rogue spot on Lighthouse for SCAV raids, easily 300-500k more and a chance at some quality guns
We’ve been rolling around with a kitted RSASS and M4, so much more enjoyable when you have the money/resources to just buy another.
I ran into Tagilla with an ADAR in factory. Landed 2 shots before taking probably 5-10 to the dome. So ready for this wipe, and I might buy the more expensive edition for the inventory space. I hate myself.
Did you notice that everything is crazy cheap? Like, the Flir thermal sight is 68rubles? This happens before every wipe
Oh yeah, unfortunately, I didn’t do a good job with rouble management so I have a shit ton of US dollars. Buying everything through the peacekeeper. Running NVGs is probably my favorite thing to do at the moment
this was the first wipe where i actually tried to get good shit but my group kind of just gave up. it could be much worse. so i ended up with this, none from the pre-wipe event
i think the best way is to just burn your good shit whenever. honestly my group just ended up killing each other more often than not when we ran out all kitted up
I killed Tagilla last night in Factory about 10mins before the patch update. Talk about a bullet sponge.
The leveling of the playing field has been a blessing. If y’all wanna play some, add ballcoach3 on Tarkov. One of the funniest moments happened earlier. Buddy and I kill 2 PMCs inside the gym at reserve. We hear a 3rd and then a 4th. I VOIP asking them if we can all go our separate ways. #1 says I can hear you on wood, #2 says I’m on tile. Meanwhile neither of us are moving. #1 says something about us being on a team. I mention we just killed 2 guys. #2 says that they were his teammates. #1 thinks we’re lying and on a team. They all come in slowly and we loot, leave. Then #1 sketchy ass kills a human SCAV who was friendly towards us. Another human SCAV hesitantly comes up, friend shoots #1 for being a dick. And 3 PMCs and a human SCAV end up looting in peace and then ex-filling together. Was a wild ride of emotion.
tarkov stories going to woods. i'm using a scav adar with w/e ammo that came with it. 885 probably. 10 round mags we (3) spawn right around outskirts. we're just trying to do the Jaeger unlock quest, so this is a shitty spawn for it, but whatever. i said repeatedly to the group, "don't go to the lumber mill, let's just do the quest." then we went to the lumber mill. we went there and i lost everything. my teammates were fine though and they took all of my shit.
My K/D has gone from a .8 last wipe to 3.5 this wipe. Definitely will not stay like this, but I’m enjoying it.

I just hit 23. I have enjoyed my time on Shoreline a lot more so far because I believe I’m slightly ahead of the curve. Not excited about getting flash kills or kills with a tremor.
We just knocked out Signals and finding the housing locations for Jaeger on Shoreline. Such a boring ass map. I have 1 kill with tremor and 1 bolt action within 25m. Nightmare.
There’s so many quests there you want boring for a few runs. Don’t buy W306 for Health Privacy Pt. 2. You need to push Peacekeeper quests and Spa Tour part 2. You get it as a reward. That key used to be awful and super expensive. Later on when you’re going solely to push resort, it pops off like crazy. It also has the likeliest LEDX spawn so people go there and fight.
The RB keys are good loot, but not worth the 550k I spent on one alone. We’re both level 21 and 22, most my hideout is level 2 or 3. Feels pretty good for being about a month in to tarkov
Haha. I know dorms, interchange especially the mall, reserve, factory, and woods like the back of my hand. Shoreline I still struggle in resort especially in combat. It’s actually easier solo. Rolling in there with 2-3 teammates can be brutal.
The bunkers of Reserve were terrifying to my buddy and I last wipe. This wipe we probably ran Reserve 20-30 times in a row and almost every time we came across friendly PMCs or scavs. Scavs spawning super early a normal thing, or new this wipe? It’s high risk now looting when you’re full and just looking for more profit due to unpredictable user scavs
i like when my scav spawns with a mag that i literally can't put back in the gun if i accidentally reload
I love when you beat a SCAV to a loot crate and he proceeds to one tap you as you loot it. Has happened several times and all I need is 6 more toothpaste to finish off this 18k exp, 170k roubles operational quest. also, I need recommendations for zen therapy, meditation, etc. my friend cannot play more than an hour before rage quitting. He’s also way better (more kills, above 2.75 k/d, higher level) than me but somehow has > 200k in roubles, way less hideout upgrades and is a walking time bomb.
player scav? between the earlier player scav spawn time and the more dangerous ai, scavs are way more of a threat. i kind of like it
Yeah player scav as I was a scav too. The earlier scav spawns on interchange terrify me. Friend quit earlier after we looted the area right before lighthouse, I told him let’s head for the exit, we’re full. He wants to loot one more building so we keep going further toward lighthouse, he opens a door, PMC laying prone kills us both.
I can’t put into words how bad I am right now. A week ago I was flying through, leveling up, leaving raids full with loot. Now… it’s 50/50 I survive as a scav and about 25% surviving as a PMC.
Solo? Solo play gets a lot harder right now. You should be surviving like 90% of SCAV raids. Where are you going? Reserve and Interchange at night are super easy and you make crazy money and get most of your quest stuff too. On reserve just stay above ground. There’s so much freaking loot there.
Mostly solo and running scavs at factory because I need toothpaste desperately. Bout to go to interchange. Just trying to grind out my quests at the moment so lots of interchange, shoreline, lighthouse.
You technically need toothpaste or 2x orthodontox. You should scav customs and hit the big crates in hideout. I bet you find them in your first run or two. Scaving factory is kind of a waste.
It’s not, 50/50 spawns by med tent as a PMC in factory. As a SCAV, I’ve found it like once. I like doing factory because it takes about 3-5mins, you load up and get out. I can make anywhere from 1-300k if lucky, but it’s just about speed to me. what is hideout on customs?
