yeah will probably regret saying this but ok with passing on him at that number. Sell Pepe and find someone in the 30-40m range who can be a rotation option with Saka Then lock up Martinez and a LCM and call it a window
Elliott manifested this by making fun of Boehly yesterday on the Arsenal Vision podcast, believing he would be a disaster in the transfer window. I agree Raphinha is not worth that much to us, but probably is to Chelsea with their deeper pockets.
What are you guys hearing about him? United sources saying we are expected to put in an official bid in the next few days.
You’re way richer than us with former coach so yeah Getting Jesus was a pretty huge coup for us and I won’t view this summer asafailure no matter what after him
Yes we are worried of course but will you be able to offload lindleof and bailly? We know all too well about trying to sell overpaid busts
I think Lindelof stays. He’s actually a pretty good passer and may do well, even if it’s still as a back up, in the new system. Pretty confident Bailly will be sold as he also wants to move on. Selling players may have been Woodward’s biggest weakness. This is Murtough’s first transfer window so nobody really knows how he is with sales yet. May be more willing to cut his losses than Ed. Phil Jones is said to likely be the other CB that will be sold.
Cutting losses will be necessary. It’s worth it. I don’t even think it’s that much of a Woodward problem as it’s a wage problem
His old coach is at United... forgone conclusion that "talks would go well". It's a nothing post/article
For me, yes. It possibly saved us from Pepe 2.0. Pepe is better, and would have been cheaper to let him run down his contract
Metrics & Pies are extremely similar, as is the final product. Continuing with Pepe is better than wasting the bulk of our transfer budget.
Leicester trying to force you guys to pay up with the Tielemans/MUFC rumors earlier today. No way United are spending big on another midfielder if we are going after Lisandro right now and still want Antony.
