I am absolutely going to try to make this at home. That Buffalo sauce with Crystal, honey and clarified butter sounds divine.
Drago's HIs story is one of my favorite that I've heard of in hospitality. https://obits.nola.com/us/obituaries/nola/name/drago-cvitanovich-obituary?id=11653147
Not usually my bag, but Drago's is good. There's also a place on Pensacola beach (peg leg Pete's) that's good
I learned last night that Spill the Wine by War was sung by the former lead singer of the Animals (of House of the Rising Sun fame), which is why it’s a total departure vocally from their other hits like Low Rider and Cisco Kid
One of our many, wildly unsafe school sanctioned field trips growing up included where you lifted an Alligator Snapping Turtle for a photo op at the end. This was right off the heels of us all watching him bite through a branch to show the bite power.
Actually went back today instead because fuck it, why not? Got lobster tail and clams. Should’ve gotten more because this smacks Clams >>> oysters
Just watched the Pulse version of Comfortably Numb for the first time in a few years. Yup, still the most beautiful 5 minutes of guitar ever.
Neighbors are currently providing the semi-annual reminder that I fucking hate fireworks. Dog is freaking out and I have to be up for work in about 7 hours.
I've picked up on a strange dynamic after being a parent of perpetually sick kids: standalone CVS pharmacies are the worst run organizations I've ever seen, but the ones inside target run flawlessly. Doesn't matter the location of either.
My “holy shit i have a kid and im fucked” moment came inside a stand-alone cvs at like 3am when my two week old son wouldn’t poop and I had to figure out what aisle the baby butthole stimulation products were on. Seven years later and I still think about how I should have left it all behind and driven to Hawaii after buying lube and a thermometer to get the baby guts moving.
This is me. Have worked 15 hour days since Thursday and have to get up and do it again in like 7 hours.
Cancelled my hotel in Auburn for the PSU game in September. Knew I was going to have to for awhile but just a real fucking bummer finally doing it.
Friends I’d go with are all broke, busy, or don’t care about PSU football enough to go anymore. I’d drag my wife but her friend is getting married in northern Cali that weekend. So guess I’m going to that.
Just sucks to miss probably the one time we’ll play there. I wanted to go when we played at Bama but I was in school and had the same damn problems. Although at least my own brokeness was contributing then.
I'd go with you, but I'm working that weekend. I have a personal vendetta against auburn and would love to see them lose in person.
Back in college I had an extremely bad ear infection. Doctor gave me to prescriptions to get filled ASAP to prevent my ear drum from bursting. Gave it to CVS, which was the nearest pharmacy with my info on file, and they said it would be a few hours even after explaining my eardrum is about to burst.
If you were hours away from your eardrum bursting you should have gone to the ER and gotten the meds you needed there.
