Wife and I watched this in about a week. I was hooked in the first 5 minutes with Martin Short dressed flamboyantly and screaming at a New York cab and Martin saying “Ding….even the elevator was bored with that story”. Also, it can’t be overstated how good Martin was post poisoning in that finale. Just incredible
This is such a fun, easy show. Charles looking at the painting saying “is that a shadow or part of his baaaaalls” was hilarious
The comment about how the second season of murder podcasts are always terrible got a laugh out of me.
What other S1 loose ends were they alluding to that will lead to Bunny's murder? They've played that line from Mabel a couple of times now. Who poisoned the dog?
Trying to guess who the murderer is in this show is pointless, because they can just keep spinning and spinning it like they did last year. They don't sit there and drop clues for you with the intent of figuring it out. It is more about their path to figure it out than a traditional whodunit.
I wonder how long they plan to run this show. I saw Steve is developing another show for Hulu so hope they give us another season or two of this.
It's weird how I alternate between "Selena Gomez is a wooden performer, how could her performance be this shallow?" and "Dang she's a perfect complement to the other two dudes and they form a nice triumvirate." Couldn't help but feel feelings when Lucy said that Steve Martin is her favorite dad and he was getting choked up. I just love Steve Martin so much.
I had to google it just now. I think she’s great. Her reaction trying to follow Lucy talking about internet culture looked like what I was probably looking like. I think her style of a kinda out of touch early twenty something works. Comes across genuine as a character.
Steve Martin and Martin Short discussing the Iran Contra Affair got to me “It was worse than Watergate but less interesting”
Finally caught up on the last two weeks. Excited to see where this goes. I don’t know how many episodes are left, so I can’t tell if it’s him or just a red herring
It's not him. I think it's a definite red herring as there has not been any link between glitter guy and the killer. The glitter guy was just someone on the other end of a text who wanted evidence. A cop/part time Coney Island security guard would definitely want evidence. He may be a stalker tho. Not sure if they are trying to connect the 'allergic to cats' with the 'killer sneezing' things. Honestly I still have no idea but think it's somehow still Tina Fey.
