Wouldn't you want to put that thang down, flip it, and reverse it and make Brainiac a big bad? Feel like him and Darkseid are 1a and 1b in that respect.
Yeah I wasn't thinking of building to a bigger bad, just what I wanted to see more. I've been dying for a Brainiac movie.
Am I in a safe space to say Snyder sucks a bag of dicks and it’s sort of splitting pubes to say his version of Justice League was any better the other?
The Snyder cut of JL was probably the best DC thing Snyder will ever do. It was big, epic, grandiose, and incredibly pretentious. I enjoyed it for what it was but it's not what DC needs as its default "style."
Yeah Snyder Cut was “better” but that’s because Theatrical Release of Justice League was fucking atrocious.
I liked the Synder cut, but it's not a strong rewatch candidate. I thought Man of Steel was his best DC movie.
I enjoyed Snyder cut. The Flash scene where he reverses time was probably one of the coolest things in a comic book movie. And if they made a 2nd one just to complete the Darkseid part of the movie, I wouldn't be mad at it. But yea, I think its served its purpose and people should take it for what it was and move on.
I can't stand Snyders usage of slow mo. The movie would have been half as long if everything was in real time. The flash stuff maybe makes sense but even beyond that he had way too much of it.
Marvel: Here is a five year plan to show what the plan is…again DC: Let’s take out a beloved character and make it a lesser character in a scene in a movie where the star is a wanted man.
Current DCEU movies rankings for me 1. Suicide Squad - Gunn 2. Birds of Prey 3. WW1 (final scene was weak though) 4. Shazam 5. Aquaman
dI don't get the point in spending $90 million and nearly having it finished only to not release it. Do they think whatever the cost is to finish it is going to be less than the revenue they can generate? That $90 million is a sunk cost, shouldn't factor into the decision to release it at this point.
Didn't think it was possible to run WB worse than AT&T did but this is pretty impressive Canning a movie that is almost completed because you think the tax write-off will generate a better return than actually releasing it will send a great message to the creative community.
I have to believe an accounting team crunched those numbers but it doesn't change the perception that DC continues to be managed worse than a KFC in Bumblefart Mississippi
Just as long as they don't fuck with Matt Reeves version of Batman. Do all your other dumb shit but if they fuck up Batman again I'm going to lose it.
