It really is a good little game. I like that they went with a realistic cat instead of one that gains moves and powers. The music is also fantastic
Finished Stray. Really fun game. Wish it would have been a little longer. Strange question but is there an end credit scene?
It might be ok even with EA at the helm. Project lead has decent bona fides, it's single player only, etc... Here's the text from the Push Square article. EA has a AAA, single player, open world Black Panther game in development, according to a new claim from the Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb. Speaking during his daily news show, it's supposedly called Project Rainier and is currently in early development. Production is being led by Kevin Stephens under a new studio at EA, who was vice president at Monolith Productions when the team made Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and sequel Shadow of War in the PS4 era. Grubb explains the overall goal of the game is to become the new Black Panther, with the open world allowing you to approach things in your own way. Of course, the fact this is a AAA project and — better still — is single player will be music to the ears of Marvel fans. Since the game is so early in development, it's unlikely we'll see any footage or receive confirmation of the title for a few years. "The game starts with Black Panther being dead and the player is going to take on the challenges of becoming the new Black Panther", Grubb explains.
Yeah that's the first time I've seen a reaction that bad to a "show us what you're working on" meeting with a publisher. It must have been really awful.
I was thinking this would be an easy slam dunk project, but I don’t know shit about game development.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, at the very least you just copy the first game word for word, that's your baseline. Not sure how you fuck that up.
As much as I love KOTOR I don’t think most people would be excited to play a shiny remaster of it. The gameplay is fairly aged at this point. Idk how easy it would be to revamp the gameplay in a way that preserves the integrity of the original game
Ah man. They’re going to be even madder when they find out Rockstar is making an effort to avoid “punching down” content-wise, and the delays in development are being caused by allegedly getting away from their former abusive work practices
From what I have read they were doing a complete overhaul of the gameplay. Going for more of an action rpg than the old turn based combat.
Got a PS5 system software beta invite today. I think I can share it with 5 people for anyone interested
1440p support and the ability to create folders, I think. Not sure what else Code sent to you and pearl
Finished Stray. Fun little game and time killer. Puzzles should have been tougher and expanded on, but overall a game worth playing.
Anyone still looking to get a PS5 bundle? I got this from Amazon EDIT: the bundle is the horizon forbidden west one. Priced at $549.99
The dialogue in everything they have shown so far has been so incredibly awful. Like a poorly written teen tv show
I haven't bought an NBA game in years, but I might just have to do it for this one, this is just badass https://www.pushsquare.com/news/202...-insane-era-appropriate-franchise-mode-on-ps5 Gonna be reliving those sweet sweet John Starks/Reggie Miller battles and some Grandmama too
I feel like that’s the only sport/game that would work with and be cool enough to play from a cultural and presentation standpoint. Like if madden did that, even if it was well done who would even want to play 80s NFL football with old presentation? NBA feels like it could work though and still be fun.
Blowing up a team a few years into the MJ era to get Kobe and AI on the same team sounds fucking sick
I get the sentiment, but I’d absolutely play an early 90’s aesthetic NFL game as the Houston Oilers and love every second. This seems awesome though. I checked out of non-golf sports games a long time ago but will likely pick it up.
Is the bundle with horizon worth it on ps direct? I really am only getting for ncaa 23 when it happens. Can the ps5 controller work on PC?
I mean I got that bundle, disc version, because I have a bunch of PS4 discs and play major titles. If it was a single game machine, I probably would have gone basic digital. Plenty of free content if you get the itch to do something else Yeah controller works with PC
Damn that was quick. So I never had even upgraded to a ps4 pro, and I've only ever had a standard 50in HDTV in my office/game room. Well get this... the wife feels like the 70in 4k in the living room is too big for the wall it's on so now I have to switch it and put it in the office. I feel like the drastic change is going to melt my eyes and I can't wait.
So I haven't used PS+ for probably over a year. I see the new version is only 112 for an entire year and includes that entire catalog of games??!! Is that right? It seems too good of a deal.
It doesn't include all games but a large selection of games. I have the middle tier. Forget the name and it's a good deal. They add new games twice a month I believe.
Well I'll be... I guess I'm just so used to having these companies trying to fuck me over I'm not sure how to handle a good deal like that.
Was very surprised I was able to download the PS5 version Ghost of Tsushima and Assassins Creed Valhalla for free. Same for most of the streaming games too. Seemingly already paid for itself. Ghost of Tsushima was stunning on PS5 and straight up fun if you haven’t played it
I switched to the top tier. A lot of games on there I wanted to play that I never purchased that I can stream for free so worth the cost like Guardians of the Galaxy. If you play all the games you wanted then you can just go back down a tier if you want until they add another game you want to play.
