We also play midfielders who are allowed to pass the ball. They’re not out there just to pass to the fullbacks. We have three more defensive minded midfielders and only one offensive. Could definitely use another offensive oriented midfielder to add into that group for games like this. We’ll have lots of them this year against bottom half teams.

Can you imagine if Bentancur got hurt and we had to start 2 of Skipp/PEH/Bissouma against teams that bunker? Then we would be completely reliant on the fullbacks.

 

To my knowledge, we only play Liverpool in the league twice this season.

 

Agree would like to see the wingbacks come off. Sess because of the yellow. Royal can either come off soon to go for the kill or stay on all game if you want to keep his defense on.
