I've always been annoyed when a 3 CB 2 Wingback formation is called a 3-....... Don't care how much freedom the wingbacks have, it should always be called a 5-...... Pretty frightening that Doucoure is the only player in the 11 who has played the majority of his career in the center of midfield. Guess Frank doesn't even think having a go at Kante is worth a try. Which might be wise considering what he has to work with at the moment.
Which is why I included the very last word "moment" in the post. ESPN says it is a 5-4-1 with Gordon up top. Iwobi being the other CM.
It took them 15 minutes to put it up after it was announced so maybe someone had a talking to after they did that.
Even though Timo Werner is a terrible finisher, he'd provide a dozen deflections from Pickford saves that Sterling or Mount would easily finish off. Fortunate he is injured.
Has appeared in 151 out of 152 Premier League matches he has been available for. But with our luck he will become Samuel L Jackson from Unbreakable the second he signs the dotted line.
I've always found it strange how much Evertonians dislike Sterling considering how he snubbed Liverpool in such a public and embarrassing fashion but I'm starting to come around to that way of thinking.
People saying it shouldn't have been a pen because he went down easy are the reason players are forced to dive to win a penalty to begin with. He pulled both of Chilwell's arms behind his back which ought to be a penalty even if he had never gone to the ground.
yeah it was a no brainer for me, he was ahead of him clear path and Doucoure was clearly grabbing him, and Mina was right there ready to wipe it out……was so dumb
13 corners conceded in one half. FFS. Even Onana and Gana coming on board isn't going to fix how fucking pathetic we are at being able to dictate how a match is played.
This is a pretty good interview. Gives a bit more confidence in Frank. And, if he doesnt succeed, at least he's not a piece of shit like Rafa or Koeman
Owsley any goal scorers y’all not using? I hear there’s this player called Richarlison that hasn’t seen any game time for y’all this season. We’ll take him on loan
I’m so excited to see him this weekend. He’s the definition of a player you love to hate until he’s part of your squad and you get a chance to see him in training and see how much he does for others off the pitch. We’ve basically had to run Kane and Sonny into the ground the past 2-3 years because we had to. With his talent, the amount of competitions we’re in, and the new sub rules I think he’ll bag 20 goal contributions across all competitions (barring injury of course). But enough gushing over Richy - how can we ship y’all Ndombele, Lo Celso, and/or Winks?
I’d usually watch the second half of a game like this where our goal scoring chances are less than 20% but our 3 year old is in a nasty streak of being awake by 630 no matter what so I’ll probably watch it all
