It’s the best place in the world if you like your gas stations with a thousand pumps and attached to a Walmart.
Central Market scoffs at this comparison as well. There’s nothing that can compare to an HEB Central Market. I’ll put the Houston one head to head against anything
I'll admit that there are several HEB'S around that are just your run if the mill above average grocery stores, but those are the older run down stores, and yet they are still better than most any other grocery store around The good ones are elite
Publix is better than HEB but for the record I would still never live in either of your trash regions
Texas “you’ll either freeze to death in the winter or die of heat stroke in the summer but at least our gas stations are great” just rolls off the tongue.
At this point I don’t know that texas has anything to feel superior about. They can’t even beat the Jayhawks in football, have a functional electric grid, keep their radical shock jocks under control, or have police that will defend school children. Hell even your pro football teams suck ass, at least Kansans can cheer for the chiefs.
How many charging stations does it have Gas is so last year And lol at those who are uncomfortable with truly private shitters
Having spent a decade shopping at Publix while living in Alabama and Florida I can say none of them even remotely compare to the HEBs that I shop at in Houston.
For those who haven’t been it’s prounounced buss-ees. Their mascot is a finely trimed beaver so yeah just make sure you don’t say buck-ees or else everyone will know you’re a tourist and not a true bussy boy.
Colorado is getting one. So they are really expanding. but a place with 150 gas pumps is a place I rather not visit. But I guess it would be the type of place I’d want to kill time at if I’m charging an EV
I hate and love Buc-ee's at the same time. The Brisket sandwiches and snacks are amazing. However, the way some Texans/southerners talk about Buc-ee's, you would think they found gold in their backyard. It's a clusterfuck of consumerism/capitalism.
A part of every dollar you spend At Buc-ee’s goes towards keeping Republicans in charge of Texas. https://www.chron.com/politics/article/Bucees-Texas-Republicans-GOP-Arch-Aplin-donation-16453133.php
This makes me wonder who Don Wasek's secret partner is. Again, this place is one of the worst examples of consumerism in this brain broken country. So I'm not too surprised Buc-ee's funds TXGOP.
Visiting Europe recently, definitely thought the places I was visiting could use a gas station selling unhealthy food in a store the size of a mini mall
i stopped at this one a few weeks ago on the way home from charleston honestly it was just too much. too many people
