No. It’s always people selling services ($50/month for cleaning the trash and recycling cans FOH). If it looked like it could be a neighbor or something I would if I could tell from the Ring camera. But it’s almost always young guys in company polos.
I bought a bow and arrow set a few weeks back after watching my kid have so much fun with it at camp. I’m pretty good from 15-20 yards (e.g. I can regularly hit closer to the center of the target), but anything longer is a struggle. I don’t think I’m ready for Alone yet.
The fashion trolling of rich idiots has peaked. JFC. https://nypost.com/2022/08/04/balenciagas-most-expensive-trash-bag-in-the-world-is-1790/
Last night I ate some candy and put on a replay of the 2006 USC-Texas title game. Boy we sure had it good. And we blew it!
What’s the point in paying $500/month for health insurance when I regularly get billed $250 for shit anyways? Kid breaks a bone? Thanks for having insurance. Here are some bills (with little explanation) for $600. It’s fucking obnoxious.
If it's a hospital bill, request an itemized bill. Often your price will go down because then they know they can't get away with charging you $20+ for one dose of Tylenol. Or so I've been told.
It’s all a scam. They charge $1000 for $200 worth of services, charge you $250, discount the insurance portion to $25 and call it a profitable day for both.
Same here lately. Usually might get a chuckle, but this one is the only one that’s got me. Have to watch till the end. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CgzaM8cgprL/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
The amount of girls that post their instagram stories to Jack Harlow's "First Class" is horrifying I can scroll through maybe the last 2 hours of stories and get hit with it at least 5 times
Has anyone browsed the /r/weddingshaming subreddit? Wedding planning is very far from my idea of a fun time but this subreddit is wild. Definitely a pleasure-read every few months.
I get that healthy people largely prop up the unhealthy wrt insurance but we pay like $600/month through work for a family of 4 and it pays for absolutely nothing. We have to have spent $20k or so out of pocket over the last decade or so outside of the monthly premiums which I guess are in the neighborhood of $60k (during that time period) just never reaching the deductible. Insurance in this country is absurd
don’t recall hearing about this… few years ago airplane window breaks at 32k feet and woman sitting by the window was half sucked out the window and died. https://www.boston.com/travel/natio...ling-details-of-fatal-southwest-flight/?amp=1
I been a (G), throw up the (L), sex in the (A-M) *goes silent since he doesnt know what to say for* (O-R-O-U-S, yeah)
A few years ago I spent more than a week in the hospital Bill was over $100k per night After my deductible, Insurance paid the hospital like $8000 for the entire bill and apparently the hospital doesn't go bankrupt Basically they billed over $800,000, got paid about $11,000 and somehow are able to keep the doors open
I went to the ER one year when I had a bad case of flu and my GERD decided it was a good time to go into beast mode. My chest was hurting so bad that I thought I was having a cardiac event and I nearly passed out. They took me to a room, but not admitted, for like an hour, did a chest x-ray, gave me something called a GI cocktail, and an 8 oz. Gatorade bottle then sent me on my way. My bill was well over $2K before insurance if I remember correctly. They probably billed like $50 for the Gatorade.
I bet you’re the person in a grief group who, after listening to someone talk about their 4 year old dying two months ago, talks about how they can’t get over their grandpa dying 5 years ago.
Sometimes when I see whatever you barf out on here I think, "yeah that guy is stupid but whatever" Other times I think, "yeah that guy is incredibly fucking stupid"
30% realization on billing keeps an ASC very profitable. I'm guessing hospitals that manage 20% do fine. It's a broken system.
Between his work on formative years film soundtracks, incredible catalogue in general, and “DJ’ing” GTA V’s Los Santos Rock Radio, I have to ask: is Kenny Loggins the most underrated national treasure of our time?
I’ve got Top Gun and Footloose soundtracks in my road trip CD rotation. Every road trip begins with danger zone.
Walgreen's when they text me my prescription's ready: good looking out guys Walgreen's when they keep texting after I've acknowledged and do a robo call: take it easy psychos
Mine has been hospital->rehab facility->nursing facility the last three weeks. In 17 days it’s going to start costing us $189 a day.
Every once in a while I need to work on a client site that is mostly isolated. I can VPN in but lose access to everything but that network. It’s refreshing because I can just work and not have anyone bothering me. I was all excited to work on one of those today. This client now allows some connections so I can hit teams and email. Whatever jackass requested that can get strung up by their sack.
There’s a channel right at the bottom of my YouTube tv that has all kinds of weird violent shit like this. Bare knuckles boxing too.
