Pineda's decision to stick with the inexperienced, undersized, and clearly outmatched RRN in goal for so long is looking pretty dumb with the way the defense has responded to playing in front of Gudino these last few games
I don't watch RB2 matches, but the freaks who do say the 6'8" kid we drafted out of the Naval Academy actually has good speed and could push for some 1st team pt next year. Just needs professional seasoning.
It’s a d*ng shame Euro-Snob Gr*gg is too busy designing shoes to recognize our stateside talent. SMDH.
Man, I’m sure he made much more in the 3 years he played in the Middle East than he could of anywhere else. It’s a damn shame we were deprived of 3 more years of free kicks though. I’d kill to see a Seba v Zela FK skill competition.
Hello MLS people, could you please tell me how Brenner, Talles Magno, and Douglas Costa are going? Thanks!
Brenner has really picked it up this season, and I would expect Magno to have his big breakout next season. I could see both sold to Europe no later than 2024. Costa has been mostly a waste for the Galaxy considering he takes up a Designated Player spot.
Some more in depth on this from Sportico, who do a much better job than Forbes for valuations. Although they don’t mention the SUM investment these owners also gain.
Brenner actually wasn’t a waste this year. Did good, had a couple hat tricks. Vazquez added to their attack really freed him up. If not for Jesus, Magno would of won best U22 player, Jesus has just been really good. A bit too selfish in the final 1/3 and rushes a bit much for me. Impressive at his age though. Costa sucks.
