Random but Russ seems like 1 of the most insufferable people ever. You’re jacked with a huge IG following but get over yourself. Taylor Atwood is pretty bad too as is that wheeze asshole
Now that you’ve been working out. Go to express and have a chick employee help you chose 3-4 jeans (about 60.00 each and make sure they fit well). Then match 3-4 long sleeve dress shirts, make sure you buy at least one long sleeve that stands out like Red (about 55.00 per dress shirt). Next select 2 belts with nice buckles ask the employee to help you with it (20.00 per belt). Then buy 2 dress shoes black and brown (about 70-90 each). Ask her for help picking out 4-5 t-shirts buy them at any other store you want, just make sure there stylish. Next is accessories. No its Not gay to add stylish accessories to your wardrobe. Purchase one of those leather fossil watches black or brown(75.00 each). Add a few clean bracelets (15-40.00). Purchase 2-3 necklaces with uniquependants (doesn't have to gold/silver, 20-50.00 each Don't know if you have hair or not but go to a salon and have a female advise you on what haircut style will fit you best. Then The last thing you gotta buy is that family pack of trojan condoms from costco cause you're going to be banging chicks left and right. Good luck
I wear suits every day. Most of my shirts are Land's End tailored cut. But my favorite shirts are indochinos, which are tailored. Capstone 88 I'm a big Bonobos fan, especially their pants. But if you have an Indochino place nearby where you can get fitted, their shirts are actually cheaper. Of course if you keep jumping weight classes, you may not want them to fit just right...
Indochino is where I get all my pants/suits for work. Big fan. I’ll have to try their shirts. I love Bonobos pants as well. The stretch jeans fit phenomenally. Levi 512 is a great Jean too.
I received my Materia v2 today. Going to try 1 scoop initially for leg day later today. Also trying their whey isolate because why not. It's nice because they threw in for free a sample of the other flavors of Materia and whey isolate into the box so I can try them. edit update: Did 1 scoop. Would say it didn’t hit me as hard as I thought it would but I did sweat more than I normally would it seemed. I also seemed to have better focus which led me to have better form so it’s possible that led to more sweat since I was probably working harder. Not bad. Will need to see how it goes with other muscle groups. Maybe in a few weeks I’ll give 2 scoops a go but it kind of scares me to take that much caffeine or beta-alanine.
I figure this the best place to ask. Maybe you guys have experienced this. I was lifting something and I heard my shoulder “crack” (sounded like I was cracking my knuckles) now my bicep is hurt like a bitch. Any idea what it might be? Is it serious? Not unbearable pain but it hurts. Currently icing it and took some ibuprofen. Should I be concerned? TIA
Should I go to the urgent care? Touching the bicep and it kinda feels like I am flexing or like a knot.
I’ve never gone to UC for that. I’d ice and see tomorrow. Both of my tears I just went to an orthopedic surgeon.
Urgent Care won’t be able to diagnose that type of injury if something is wrong. If it’s worse tomorrow or doesn’t get better you need an Ortho.
Just saw all this. Both of my bicep tears were at the elbow but they can tear from the shoulder as well. The first one I couldn’t really tell anything was wrong other than my arm wasn’t working properly and I heard the pop. The second one I heard the pop again but my arm was horribly bruised.
went to the doctor today and they said obviously something is wrong but can’t tell what. They did an X-ray but I think that’s an insurance thing because they are referring me to sports medicine and for an MRI. Hopefully it’s not too serious I feel pain but it’s not bruised up and I have some range of motion.
I wouldn’t use it. Sling it up until you get the mri just in case. They always have to do the X-ray before the mri I believe for insurance but the mri will show the tear if it even is one.
Are they considered part of sports medicine? I honestly don’t know what to follow other what the doctor prescribes and insurance approves. The X-ray came back negative for any shoulder damage.
Did a 4x6 bench today with 215 and felt like a deload, think I could have had 12 first set. It’s a lift idgaf about but wanna see if I can hit 300 soon.
I had gotten away from DB rows for a bit but we threw them back in the program and man I forgot how much I love heavy high Rep sets of DB rows
My go to is single arm landmine rows where you’re grabbing the end of the barbell, it gets a nice deep stretch on the lat similar to the DBs.
T bar barbell is where I go heavy. Slowly getting back to putting 5 plates on the end and knocking out 10-12 reps
I guess I’ve been calling it incorrectly. Meadows row is what I’m trying to describe. I’ll use the t bar row machine for it as it’s elevated off the ground so no energy is wasted on initial lift
560 for 3 singles then 525 for 5 on yesterdays primary deadlift session. I felt super dialed in and like “my” deadlift was back. Ready to go 660+ in 7 weeks
Mmmmm probably 50+ lbs? I pulled 622 for a true max effort in May of last year. My second will probably be 630 or so this meet if I hit what I’m capable of
