Hello friends. Should be a fun game this weekend. Great game last night Daniel Ocean no drinks for me I was on daddy day care duty solo.
guess it depends where you're coming from. We always had a good parking pass with our tickets so I've only ever driven to the games (when I wasn't a student anyways) but other people from Pasadena would take the Gold Line.
Been a long time since we've been the primetime ABC game. Feels good to have these big game vibes starting to build. Think it's a toss up that will be decided by turnovers.
It's been a while since I've been to a game - what's the move for pregame? Have field passes for tomorrow so pretty pumped about that.
I think time of possession is gonna be a key issue because ND isn't gonna wanna go score for score, so they're gonna run it a lot and try to keep Caleb off the field. This season is already a major success for year 1 so at this point it's full "icing on the cake" territory, that said I think ND wins because of what you said, either a major strip sack or an untimely INT
Agreed, this is different. Even though we were ranked going into the 2017 game I did not have any confidence that we would win. Cheers to a good game ND.
First time in years this has felt like it should. Anxious and excited. Wish I was at the coliseum for this one.
Checking in at halftime but that was a really good first half effort. Impressed with the defense. Hope we can hang on for the win!
Congrats gents. You’re the real ones for sticking around. Looking forward to this rivalry going forward
What a lovely evening. It feels real again. Biggest takeaway from the game was that we ran the ball so well. Austin Jones was exceptional. Williams was really good but most of his stuff was a result of the Irish trying to stop Jones. Defense also showed up in line play. My family and I had a blast. And for that, I'm thankful.
Hope Vorhees is ok, pretty much the only blemish on the night. That was the most complete game USC’s played all year, hopefully the team has one more left in them! Also Pyne has to have one of the craziest stat lines for what was an 11 point loss
I think it was the opposite. Felt like most of Jones yards came on the plays immediately after Williams scrambled around forever and had our DL sprinting around for way too long.
I don't know how you could watch that first half and not see how slippery Jones was, not mention his ability to get yards after contact.
We had seven posts in our thread during the actual game. The ND thread had 11 pages of posts. Sometimes, less is more.
considering we are pretty objective/level-headed and also don't follow recruiting at all, there really isn't a ton to say
