I mean, Holler is average talent, but he has fight. He is clutch in big plays a a guy you want on the field at the end of the game.
I did love that the whole team now genuinely seems to hate them vs. a Rocky Ross doing it and everyone else acting like it's another "1-0" game. I will say they need to really make more of a show of it though...the T-rex arms to throw the horns down looked rather pathetic at times.
Holler has to be like the first kid that was raised going to UCF games that did anything in our program. I thought his spot was going to be taken by Gamble but he never plays, so good for Holler and I’m sure as a life long fan he will always remember that catch.
Yeah it’s had bad moments mostly in the navy game but last night if Plumlee doesn’t injure himself that’s a blowout. Coaches also can’t just say “don’t keep fumbling the ball”. that said forcing Keene to run the Plumlee option offense is silly but that 3rd down decision to throw a pass to the outside was a great call that paid off. Hats off to that risk.
As much as I don’t love JRP, you’re right. We win by 28 if he doesn’t get injured. I feel like Gus gets amnesia when Keene goes in the game. He calls the offense like he does for JRP the first 4-5 drives before he’s like “oh wait, I have a passing QB in the game now.” It can be so frustrating.
We had 1 defensive stop in the 2nd. I know the D had to deal with short fields, but that was awful. Also, I hope Tulane doesn't run any QB option runs, because both navy and usf gashed us on those.
Yeah our D looked like dogshit, but I give credit to USF’s offense. They kept us guessing all night. Also, their cheerleader rah rah interim coach looks like the dude from Homeland.
Saw him say something about the USF renaissance begins Monday. They really hiring him? Their AD hates work.
There was no difference between how that team was with Scott and then without him so I’m not sure how you go with the interim guy.
That interim coach was annoying as hell but he had them playing hard even behind. ..but maybe it doesn’t matter bc they hate us so much . they would have quit down that much vs ECU
are we still thinking twill gets hired away after the awful defensive performances we've seen the past few weeks?
There are some crazy things happening today in coaching world. Anything could happen but I think we might keep him. We have the money to give him a nice raise.
part of me thinks he’s getting the money gif before the competition increases but yeah he should have left last year.
Yep, you’d think him turning down ND and not even considering the Texas job meant he was pretty much Ohio State or bust. Plus leading Cincy’s transition to the P5 seemed enticing.
i was more under the impression folks thought he was going to be a DC at an SEC program or something vs. sticking here.
Wisconsin plays in a very easy division. They are going to like double his pay, he should go and get a few 8-10 win seasons there then take the OSU job.
also w Fickell the Big and SEC are the ‘big 2’ but it makes no sense to not have interest in Texas and Notre Dame but now want Wisconsin 11 months later
lmao I read that earlier and assumed he was talking about college options. It didn’t even occur to me that he would consider NFL aspirations. Like I know that’s what he’s always wanted but it literally slipped my mind as even a possibility.
not sure how good the basketball team is but they are more fun to watch compared to the last few years
Every projection I've seen is Tulane vs Penn State in Cotton. I could think of worse opponents if we win
For the greater good, I am not going to be allowed near my son's elementary school this week. Undefeated #ChampionStash time! Spoiler
I'm just curious what a USF team would have looked like with a senior Mike White as QB and Quinton Flowers in a skill position.
