    Good for Keene.

    I know he’s not Milton or Bortles, but dude was the third best QB we’ve had over the last 20 years. Yeah his ceiling was probably 8-10 wins a season, but that’s pretty damn decent. Gus mishandled the QB competition, mishandled the redshirts, and now we’re going to lose a guy who beat UF last year as a freshman and was instrumental in helping us to a conference champ appearance.

    I know TC is “the future”, but we don’t actually know what he’s going to be. We had a relatively sure thing in Keene but Gus is so damn stubborn and chased away a dude who was a pretty darn good QB for “his guy”. Again, I know it’s not atypical for a new coach to do it, but just pisses me off.

    I digress charge on.

    the QB room management this season has been not ideal. I just hope someone is good enough and we don’t have to deal w this again in Year 1 in the Big 12
