I'm not sure Gus is the problem. He's trying to overcome a fucked up QB situation and I think he just doesn't have the tools to beat a championship team.
I mean, he makes a lot of questionable coaching calls, he has definitely brought talent to ucf and is in a shit situation now. We don't need to be super aggressive for a TO, we just need solid D. I really wish we would pressure pratt more and play the WRs tightly
That’s why next year with TC will be telling. He’s gone a year with a pocket passer at QB and a year with a running back at QB. Next year with TC? On paper, he has everything Gus wants in a QB to run his system. If it still doesn’t work with TC, it’s the system.
can we get new cleats, gloves, whatever, like it can't just be us being that terrible at standing up and grabbing things can it!?
Pretty sure Tulane’s route teee right now is “just stop and turn around whenever the defense turns their head to run”
that's stands at best, confirmed is bs. and they should've called that a catch instead of incomplete to begin with. not enough to overturn either way.
There’s just no way you ever see that ball hit the ground and his hands were under the ball. Just don’t know how you call it incomplete. A ball can bounce up if your hands are underneath it.
We can rightfully be frustrated with the offense this year but the defense has been BAD except for a couple of halves here and there
I'm still so pissed about that no catch. Such a big play at such and important time and they reviewed it terribly and did it so quickly.
And I get why it looks like it “bounces” but there’s no way anyone can ever see the ball touching the ground. The ball bounces from his hands
felt they'd win this from the get go given how banged up and shit we have been. i'm surprised we actually made a game of it in the fourth.
Happy for Tulane they've been shit for as long as I can remember and it's cool to see them get excited.
On one hand making the CCG is an achievement especially dragging this qb room to it. We beat USF and had 2 ranked wins. on the other hand yih lost to shitty ass Louisville and shittier Navy at home. Should have hosted the AACCG and blew it. The defense sucks. so I guess this season can just be “fine” and ultimately a forgettable one. But at least better than last year. Don’t think we’d call it good or successful though.
What did they call Apollo 13, the successful failure mission or something like that? That’s what this season feels like.
