Any GM that drafts Levis (or Richardson for that matter) in the 1st rd will be looking for a new job in the not too distant future.
McShay had Richardson going 11 in his most recent mock. I think that would be grounds to be fired walking back from making the pick
mcshay had the eagles taking bijon at 5 if anyone needs to get fired its mcshay for publishing those takes
The Lions and Seahawks decisions at QB at the top of the draft are really interesting. It's weird to think such a small sample should matter a ton going forward, but the next month for Goff and Smith are randomly very important going forward in a bunch of different ways that could change a lot of things across the league.
if you like the available rookie, both those teams should be drafting them, imo. Geno and Goff may be better than one would expect, but probably not getting either team where they want to go.
Feel like it's hard to justify either of those teams taking anyone besides Bryce or Stroud unless Goff/Geno fall off a cliff down the stretch.
agreed. it is less about sticking with what you got, but whether you believe in those guys to "reach" for the 3rd or 4th QB.
Lions and Seahawks likely aren't going to be picking with those guys available. I guess they could trade up, but that would be silly
I'm aware. I guess Detroit could finish top 2. Texans obviously have #1 locked up. Rams and Broncos play each other soon. Bears are prolly going to lose out. Eagles, Bills, Lions, Vikings (maybe win if Minny is benching starters).
the picks are 2 and 4 right now. don't overthink it - Young and Stroud are very much in play for both teams.
DeToxRox posted that someone compared Stroud to Goff and I can't un-see it because it seems somewhat accurate. I think it's a bit easier for Seattle because Geno is 4 years older than Goff and a FA after this year.
I would like to see Stroud in Seattle. It's a well run organization and he wouldn't have to be the day one starter.
lol, Carter is obviously a stud but Bryce going to the Texans is an absolute fucking nightmare scenario. I think Carter will succeed anywhere, QBs are doomed with that team though.
I have not paid attention to the top guys but wouldn't hate a corner with a Saints pick IF its not a reach there, Bradberry is probably getting another multi yr contract from someone after this season. Even then trading back makes the most sense and take a corner later
I think Ringo is the top CB from what I’ve seen. I don’t think he’s worth a top 5 pick. I’d take Clark Phillps mid-teens though.
Richardson is such a great kid but he's just so far away from being ready for the NFL mentally (literally couldn't handle media in his hometown) and physically (to the extent that he gets injured sliding)
Well yeah obviously I think if there's anything that can be fixed it's that but those 2 other things are bigger immediate issues. It's clear he's terminally online and takes things way too personally, god help if the kid goes to a major media market with the spotlight on him 24/7.
Who knows. May be great, but I think he ends up being the 3rd QB off the board. Stroud and Levis May go before him.
I don't think there's ever been a negative report on Carter at all. He talked a little shit to the Mizzou players pregame omg But we never heard anything about Isaiah Wilson either and hoo boy
If Tua has 40-50 lbs on Bryce, Bryce has been playing at like 170 which makes everything he’s done even more incredible. Gmafb
