Remember when all the Auburn fans acted all cunty like it was impossible for us to be on the same level as them or gasp better than them at basketball? And all the shit they talked about it? Well here we are fam.
You want to have him coach linebackers or do you want fuck him? I’m starting to get turned off when our defensive coaches know what asparagus is.
reading it was one thing but actually listening to clowney say what he did is something else. he certainly has a way about him.
Seems like Leonhard, Pruitt, or Schumann is a near certainty so I’m content there. give me Mullen, Kingsbury or Grimes and let’s roll. Also plenty of NFL guys I’m sure we would all be good with. Like others have said the most important (and surprising) decision has already been made. combine the outstanding bowl performance and elite recruiting class with the coaching turnover and I’m not sure this off-season could be going any better.
I know it's been more or less announced that Armstrong is likely coming to coach ILB'ers, but I'm curious if he could potentially replace Hutzler (he apparently has experience coaching both inside and OLB) who wasn't particularly impressive coming off of Sal with the guys he had to work with, and our ST sucked outside of Will and Kool-Aid returns. It would be a weird announcement to make if Schumann was still in play as he'd almost certainly be in charge of ILB. Coping and convincing myself still that Leonhard said yes very recently as Pruitt just still seems pretty unlikely.
Peter Griffin guy, who apparently used to have connections once upon a time (but maybe not anymore) said months ago that Hutzler was gone after season. So I guess we’ll see.
the fact that Saban is getting rid of Golding has also restored all faith. I think we were all afraid he had lowered the standard. Now we know the standard is back. That's what I care about the most.
Yeah still TBD if all this works out to another ring but it's very encouraging that he sees that we were never going to with Pete and the direction things were going.
good. with the rules in college there’s basically no reason to not have passing options on your run plays and vice versa
We essentially were fighting with one hand tied behind our back with an incompetent defense the 4 seasons under Pete and yet we: - won 2 SEC championships - won a natty - finished runner up Lost a total of 6 games - four by 3 points, one by 5, and the other we were leading in the fourth. If we can't win another natty or two now then we were never going to.
You knew Kentucky was gonna have one of these games this season. Tennessee definitely has the ability with they way they play to get into a rock fight like this.
Yeah I think Barnes is as good of a defensive coach as there is but they are always going to be held back by offensives that live in the 60s
Mob towners and future visitors please try wok tossed dumplings from devine dumplings. Try them once and you’re hooked. I need this spot to thrive because I absolutely adore the spicy wok tossed lamb dumplings. Support this place
I don’t know who this guy is that’s making this claim but interesting that Strong isn’t on anyone’s list that I have seen. Not advocating for him but thought it was an oversight that he was never mentioned from what I have read as a contender.
i was just sitting here thinking "i'd be ok with strong". but would i really? or is that just what pete has done to me?
basketball being this good after that football season may be exactly what we needed to make fans care
