I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Schumann is taking an elite job next year. He's 32 and has only really worked on field under Kirby. I think there's an argument to be made that it could help him to come learn under Saban. He has to know it could give him an inside track to potentially be Saban's predecessor. Again, I don't think he's getting offered the Florida or Oklahoma job next year at that age so he's probably going to be a DC for at least 3-4 more years unless he takes the Troy job. Fixing the Alabama defense on his own would go a long way in improving his resume. I really don't think he's getting a whole lot of credit for what UGA is doing. In most folks eyes that's all Kirby. I think if Saban puts the full court press on him he can convince him.
I’m not even trying to debate it, but they both became position coaches in 2016, but Lanning is 3 years older. I do agree about Leonhard, he’s going to be the one with the most to prove, after getting passed over for the Wisconsin job.
Lanning was the clear #1 guy though. Do people see Schumann that way or is Muschamp considered the top?
If you're Schumann, you might convince yourself that this is your opportunity to get the big job at Bama if you come in, fix the D, and stick around for 5 to 7 years as Saban's protege. Not sure if that's realistic or not but not crazy for someone ambitious enough to become an National Champion DC at age 32 to think that way.
That’s a bunch of bullshit from Watts. Saban is doing everything, everywhere, all at once. He’s not waiting to think about new coordinators until after fucking Junior Day camps. Give me a fucking break. He’s been working on this for months.
I'm bout to put out a SUPER NUGGETS NUCLEAR WAR ROOM and then just do a chatbot thing where I tell it to write "12 paragraphs about Alabama Coordinator Search and things being fluid" and then try and sell it
no chance Tennessee is down for that game after the loss but I’d love to be wrong. A two game lead would be nice.

I’m hearing the death penalty for Stone Cold Steve Austin . I am pro-life and take no pleasure in reporting this.
The best thing I ever did was expose BOAD because that has saved me from voluntarily paying money every year to have a poorly funded AI bot spew nothing nuggets with a side of veiled innuendos he’ll later misconstrue as a “hint”. At least here I can watch jun shitpost for free.
It’s like watching an old lady who can’t see over the steering wheel parallel park on Peachtree Street during rush hour. I know what’s gonna happen, but I can’t stop watching.
Gotta say I think between Oats, Pett, and Hogson, I trust them to get this team’s mind right. Hope tonight is cathartic for everyone.
