Not totally sure on price. I’ve seen it range all over the place online. All I’m trying to do is either point him to the right place or put him with the right people. he’s in lower Alabama on the gulf
There is a group out of the UK, that specializes in selling old scotch and does whisky appraisals. The first one is free he should be able to find it googling. I have a few old Macallans that I’ve gotten appraised through them.
Agreed I think 3k is the top end. I have a 1984 version of what he’s selling and it’s that exact range you are talking about
Zero issue with Starlight. I'm rebelling against the tater sticker (by offering to buy that bottle at a discount.)
I know it has been said multiple time but that Barrel Bourbon pick is fucking excellent. On my second pour tonight. You guys nailed that pick.
For anyone not living in Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia... Smoke Wagon will ship you three Uncut Unfiltered for $84/bottle (free shipping on three or more bottles.)
I am too because I know some breweries that ship beer out of Vermont. And I had a bottle shop ship me stuff from Portland a long time ago. Maybe it's just liquor. Surprising either way.
Reminder to please fill out the form if you reserved bottles already... FYI, Fedex doesn't require dimensions for my own packaging. UPS does. One Bottle Shipper 4 ⅝” x 4 ⅝” x 16” Two Bottle Wine Shipper measures 8 ⅜” x 4 5/16” x 16 ¼” Three Bottle Wine Shipper measures 12 ⅝” x 4 5/16” x 16 ¼” Four Bottle Shipper measures 8 ⅜” x 8 ⅜” x 16 ¼” Six Bottle Shipper measures 12 5/16” x 8 ⅜” x 16 ¼”
I am glad all these people with poor taste are outing themselves. Now we know who to not take bourbon tasting notes from, before we spend a $100 bucks on something like a bottle of peerless….
