I love the “he reduces sentences for other criminals” argument. meanwhile when a black person is murdered while being arrested for a misdemeanor offense they’re the first to say “he shouldn’t have been committing a crime and it wouldn’t have happened”.
Which is exactly why Trump, knowing he’s guilty as fuck anyway, should call the bluff and not voluntarily surrender. It would throw everything into chaos, which is what he needs. And it would almost certainly end Meatball Ron’s chance at the White House. More people nationally would oppose him for actually not extraditing than those who will support him, and if he doesn’t follow through he loses the GOP base after saying what he said. Can’t let Ron benefit politically from his own arrest.
