Concerned that few of our players have the technical skill to pull off his system. Also, I want to sell like half the squad anyways, so…

Id prefer someone young and up and coming vs him. He seems to be the Paratici choice though.

Bentancur, Kulu, Kane, Porro… who else is technically good enough? Perisic maybe but he can’t play in a back 4.

Seems like another in the mold of Jose and Conte who thinks he’s too good for the club and will leave at the first opportunity

Yeah I'm against bringing in another big name. They will just fail and shit on the club on his way out like Jose/Conte or do well but still jump ship if a bigger club comes in. Bring back Poch or find another up and comer like him with epl experience.

Tbh I think he would do well at an under the radar club like spurs. Not quite ready for the bright lights.

Chelsea with some exploratory but direct talks with Poch, according to Fabrizio. Go for it, I’m feeling less and less interested in reuniting. If Ancelloti does stay, where else does Nagels go other than us or chill at home on Bayern’s dime?

I think he did a good job. I don't blame him for Bissouma or Richarlison, as I think both will still work out. Transfer windows were certainly more exciting and fruitful than they have been in years.

Color me skeptical that their Director of Football was the person to blame for Juve's financial accounting issues and it wasn't directed by their board and their 15 other directors. Seems convenient that the ITALIAN court allowed the ITALIAN team to qualify for Champions League now, but the Director who is no longer with them is the one being penalized.

I think our final manager shortlist is Nagels (who is now no longer entertaining Chelsea or vice Versa), Kompany, Slot, Enrique (was this a Paratici influence?). Any would be fine.

Rumors from Bayern people that Nagelsmann is now focused on us. Still dont believe it and am awaiting my wait with Brendan Rogers but im still getting my hopes up.

How would everyone feel if we got Nagelsmann and Poch went to Chelsea?

Fine. Poch was great while he was here but there were undeniable issues and I don’t know if he’s worked those out. I don’t think he was the most tactically astute guy (that stupid fucking midfield diamond we kept playing for months on end), he didn’t want to work under a DoF, and he was bad for our youth players. I don’t think enough has changed at the club for a second stint for him to be as successful as the first.

i think Poch was pretty good for youth but maybe Kane just clouding my judgment. From my memory with Poch we had Kane, Bentaleb, Mason, Carroll, Dele, Dier all playing. Compare that to anyone weve had since...

Didnt bring up Kane but gave him the start over Soldado and played him extensively and also Carroll, Winks, Dele, Dier. May not be a huge amount but to say he didnt do anything for youth after the shit we've seen since is something.

I think our use of youth has been significantly better since Poch left. Dele and Dier weren’t from our academy. We bought them. Carroll was a senior player before Poch showed up. Most damning, though, was his refusal to allow players to go on loan. Since he’s been gone we’ve been sending kids out on loan again instead of them just wasting away in our academy and not getting any experience.
