My coworker has some trump bucks that are really damn close to the size of real money and I get pissed about it every time I notice it. The treasury department takes that shit seriously and always get back “they won’t care about this and if they do, fuck them”
I posted in this thread a few weeks ago my buddy who works at a BoA in Jacksonville had three old people in three separate days come in and try to exchange trump bucks.
He works at the Merrill in the branch so he doesn’t deal with the people directly, but his stories are insane. At LEASt once per week there is an elderly person coming in for an obvious wire transfer scam. The teller can try to talk them out of it but ultimately they can’t deny the wire. It’s crazy to me the amount of money getting scammed and it’s just one local branch.
I saw it on Twitter so it must be true but I’m sure there are legit stories about right wing idiots who had capital in 08-09 and put it in Iraqi dinars or whatever and missed out on that massive bull market.
