I think the last couple of months have confirmed Skipp isn’t good enough to be an every day starter. Fine rotation piece but he’s not starter caliber.
I don’t think so. Appears to me that Royal has been sitting back next to Romero and Romero has been the central defender with Lenglet flanking him on the Left. looks a 3421 to me with Davies and Porro flanking our central midfielders.
Yeah, you might be right, particularly going forward. At least it's evolved this way given how deep Palace have been sitting most of this half
There is something weird going on that doesn’t seem traditional. At times it looks like Hoijberg drops into the back three and Royal is ahead of them.
You can see it with Porro. Ran a lung buster sprint and put that ball on a dime to the open striker. Obviously needs to work out his defending but with proper tutelage, he's going to be a good player.
Royal as a RCB is an interesting long term option. He has always been solid defensively and really good at clearing his lines and getting out of the back. He has the size and he is also fast. If he can be converted, I think he could be really good.
I have been patient with him and I never was a person who felt he shouldn’t be here. There is a solid player in there.
I only felt that he belonged in a team playing a back 4. It isn’t crazy to say he isn’t a good wingback, very few would argue otherwise.
Not ready to say this yet. Wouldve liked to see him next to say Betancur or someone more positive from midfield. Him and Pierre seem to play the same. Also interesting Hoijberg does not seem to be having the same goal chances he had when Betancur was around.
our U-21 squad has to win by 3 or they get relegated from Premier League 2. Currently up 1-0. Lucas Moura playing with them (also Pape Sarr)
Mokbel of the Daily Mail reporting Spurs are confident they won’t face competition for Nagelsmann. Between him pulling out of Chelsea consideration and Ancelloti/Galtier seemingly staying out at Real/PSG respectively, there don’t seem to be other appealing jobs. The story remains the same from Nagels perspective, find out who our DoF will be before any decision to proceed. From Bayern’s side, should be about £10m, not significantly more than Slot’s supposed £6m fee to prise him away from Feyenoord.
LOL, don't get me wrong. I read it because I like the layout and the quick hitter headlines, but it is almost all trash. They will turn around and say the opposite tomorrow.
Wouldn't bet against Ryan Mason at this juncture. Not suggesting he can't manage this club but it shows absolutely zero ambition heading into another critical summer window. (that said, much rather go with Mason than something daft like Brendan fuck Rodgers or something)
One nervy fucking 1-0 win over Palace and now we’re going to appoint Mason on a permanent basis. Motherfucking stupid. No one else was even going for Nagelsmann! I’m livid.
