Was in a meeting a while back where someone had one. I agree, I’m not sure I would spend the money on that vs an iPad unless i was already a major notepad note taker.
I really like it. The ability to choose between a formatted note sheet and free form is nice. Recognition is really pretty good to convert to printed text. Ability to download and mark up pdfs, or email out from app is very easy.
The head of our company uses the heck out of it. I presume there is some integration, but he has not set it up or even know if it can do such. I wouldn't like paying that much unless it can sync right into my Google Keep/MS Outlook etc. Would love if I'm wrong but it seems like a dead end to me personally.
I also did not pay for mine, but I love it. I am not reliant on it, in terms of absolutely needing it. From a process standpoint I absolutely fucking hate paper. So I’ve been fully digital for notes and such for years. So when I really do need to focus and take notes it’s perfect. I don’t have distraction of one of my 25 tabs calling me. Just a process thing for me but that’s why I like it. Absolutely don’t use it to its full advantage but for what I use it for it’s worth the money. I’d pay for one.
I was recently given one. I don’t think it’s worth the $400 or whatever but I absolutely love it. I’m a hybrid work from home/office so it’s solved me leaving notes at home or at work and needing them when I’m at the opposite place. Use it for notes and for marking up pdf’s. I work in oil and gas so being able to mark up maps has been extremely helpful. The downside is the processor isn’t great so zooming in and out is clunky but it works. I do wish it had color but overall I love it and if it got stolen I would definitely buy another.
I love mine. It’s so much easier to keep track of notes in live meetings and then process them to the computer. Battery life is forever. Being able to use the templates mean my daily routines are vastly improved because I can use a lot more structure. Huge fan.
Just got one of those Away Bigger Carry-Ons. Have been needing a new carry-on size suitcase for a while, and landed on this. It's pricey, but I had a discount code and they (allegedly) have a lifetime warranty on these things. First hardside/shell I have had in a while. It does look sharp though.
It was a link from a marketing email I had gotten from them. Signed up for their mailing a couple months ago. They send out deals and codes sporadically. May have a Memorial Day thing going rn, idk. I bought it a a little over a week ago
Taking advantage of some Memorial Day sales to gear up for hiking szn Spoiler New headlamp Vuori shorts, because of course Wide sleeping pad so I can finally sleep on my fucking stomach in the backcountry 4-seasons tent because I've been wrecked by the wind and snow enough times
Good stuff. Located here in San Diego so you see it everywhere. I have two friends that work for them.
I am working on swapping as much of my shit out to theirs as possible when it needs replaced. Never had more comfortable clothes and have rocked pants for several years that still look new.
Other than a really old pair of Aftcos (because I'lll never fully give up that #saltlife), theyre the only shorts I own. Wear them pretty much every day. And the liner makes freeballing a breeze! REI has a bunch on sale right now, FYI
Vuori shorts are pretty much the only shorts I wear casually. I bought a pair 3 years ago and they're just as good as the day I got them
I bought a full zip hooded jogger late winter and my wife got absolutely furious at me because it is the only thing I would wear this for the rest of winter and early spring.
