chez paré seems like the obvious choice here for a nice Saturday night dinner just kidding, do not take this post seriously please
Oh hi I’m in Montreal right now and didn’t know this thread existed. went to Cirque du Soleil last night with my wife for her 40th and it was delightful. Haven’t read this thread at all. I spose going to Cirque was lame but we loved it
i would not know I have never been to any strip club in my life. I will ask a friend and come back with an answer when he gets back to me
Kidding aside, I think a few of them closed down but chez pare is usually a good bet. It’s been over 15 years since I have been so I have no idea how it is holding up nowadays. I am 2 and a half hours away from mtl
What are the must sees/dos outside of bars/restaurants? I’d like to partake in a little cultural enrichment and gain historical knowledge in between stuffing my face and catching a buzz.
Man the bike infrastructure and the BIXI system are so fucking good. Wife has been on an e-bike BIXI and it’s great. Such an easy city to explore. Enjoyed mont royal hike and then walking down Mont Royal Avenue. Fontaine park was idyllic with all the folks relaxing on Patriots Day today. Didn’t know it was a holiday weekend when we decided. Wife turns 40 tomorrow.
not sure what the availability is like right now but if you feel like spoiling her go to club chasse et pêche.
