I'd say that's very much up in the air. Years of roster and recruitment mismanagement have left a club littered with bad contracts and bloated wages for guys who aren't good enough for the Premier League and now there's no Europe.

It's just another (perhaps minor) example of how poorly this club manages talent evaluation and their overall roster. They sell Jack Clarke (or let him walk, I can't remember) and buy Djed Spence (who is worse) and immediately loan him out to somewhere in France where he didn't play and still managed to get hurt. They buy Bryan Gil who was clearly not ready when they signed him but slowly started to show glimpses when he got minutes. Loaned him back to Spain and then loaned in a virtually identical player in Arnaut Danjuma who they also never played. And whilst we're on the subject of forwards, let's not forget this tidy piece of business by Dan Levy --- sell Steve Bergwijn (because he wasn't playing enough) for 30 mil and buy Richarlison for 50 mil who also never played... probably because he was pretty shitty all season.

It's not his tactics - from what I can tell his tactics are fine (albeit managing Celtic in a very weak league). Just feels like Levy is choosing a guy who won't fuss about better players. That said, I'd rather have Ange than Silva. Fuck off with Silva.
