Maybe a better thread for this, but god damn do you see this on LinkedIn the second you log in (yes I know it's demented to ever go on that site). Within the past couple of days I saw someone making a motivation post about their spouse dying and relating that to fucking work.
Sherpas are super human. It was amazing seeing them in action, and I wasn't anywhere near actual climbing spots. The amount of weight they carry is absurd. Their DNA is actually different from us weak folks and better suited for high altitude.
Honestly surprised the client didn’t refuse to give up their summit, instead opting to record a time-lapse video of that person dying, and posting it to their socials to make their own ascent look even more arduous. Kudos to that client.
