Loy with some updates this morning: Guerby Lambert is unclear if he's going to show up this weekend, he might come to ND might go to OSU, no one knows. He might not go anywhere and he might just stay home and go play for BC. Kid must not talk to anyone Grant Brix- seems like ND told him not to visit, so he's not coming now. Loy says ND wants Prescord and Lambert Jaylen Harvey told not to visit, which isnt a surprise after Logan Thomas commitment
was gonna update you on Nelson. Two of our recruiting guys from different sites put in picks for him to stay in state. Also was on campus with our new QB commit last week.
I saw on Twitter that the lax team is leaving for 10 days in Germany this week. Assuming they are anything like the lacrosse guys when I was in high school, someone is for sure going to jail
it will be interesting to see how Freeman handles the decommit/official visit thing this year of course, it's ideal if Beasley decommits beforehand and comes to his OV as an uncommitted prospect or a ND commit :)
Lol at the Kelly story about ghosting Tony Hurd on II podcast "If you were invited to a Christmas party in September, and then were never contacted again to tell you date and time, do you really think you are still invited to the party?" And this was December of 2010 so pretty much day1 of his tenure
247 finally added a button to just see staff posts in a thread. Worth the price of admission for that alone.
ND got accepted to the AAU Spoiler not the basketball version https://news.nd.edu/news/notre-dame-selected-to-join-association-of-american-universities/
I totally understand what this means, but we have Dutch and Canadians here that might be confused, so explain why this is good?
Today, we are proud to be mentioned among the likes of great academic institutions like Arizona State University, George Washington University, the University of California, Riverside, the University of Miami, and the University of South Florida.
But in all seriousness, IU brings in umpteen times more money via AAU research grants than TV money, etc.
Its based on the amount of on campus research that takes place iirc. When Nebraska joined the B1G they were in the AAU but they either lost their membership or were threatened with it because they moved a program/school off their Lincoln campus or something like that.
Its going to be so funny watching this team next year and seeing like 8-9 players I've never seen before play
They are going to be baaaad to start the year, and Shrew has said as much, but they could be a good bit of fun down the stretch.
