I've had the conversation with several people. "Well they generate a lot of jobs so I'm OK with them not paying taxes." is always said. Like wtf? They literally only hire people bc those people generate income for them. They aren't hiring people out of charity. And they'll fire people as soon as they can if it increases their bottom line. The whole concept of giving them breaks bc they hire a lot of people is so incredibly dumb.

Ernst is so worthless. Her only having Pence at that dumbass event makes me so happy. Her election really was the watershed moment when Iowa reverted into a right wing petri dish instead of a purple swing state. A Democrat used to be able to win that state with some folksiness and as long as you gleefully used ethanol in the corn/soybean lobbying circle jerks during caucus season.
