I was on the road and listened to the dbacks broadcast on serious. It was wild how complimentary they were.
And I like the idea of developing him like Strider. Nerds will whine about a third pitch, but like with Strider, he already has two plus pitches that can really help us right now. Work on the changeup in the off-season.
Interesting how Ozuna’s benching is on the front page of ESPN’s site, but it’s not on the Braves’ official website. That wasn’t exactly the first time he didn’t exactly give 100%. He sucked for two straight years. He’s a distraction off the field. And yet, he’s apparently a popular guy in the clubhouse. I don’t get it. And as much as I want to trade him, how can a contending team justify it when he’s hitting like this? Frustrating in so many ways.
I'm torn whenever this kind of thing happens. Very few of our guys run on a ball they think is gone. Very few of them run out ground balls anymore. It's only an issue a ball hits the top of the wall or an infielder boots it and still has time.
Ehhh Ozuna’s was pretty egregious. He didn’t start his trot for a long time. It’s different than a slow trot, he didn’t even move.
Yea but Olson stands there for a while too. I guess the difference is his are generally 30 rows deep.
