Lot of trolling going on in that group recently. Some dude with a one day old account and one friend started a hundred comment post about getting assaulted on Dunston this week.
So it sounds like it was a budget cut decision, and perhaps some noteworthy fallout is that Spann has removed any mention of ABC from Twitter and Facebook profiles, still on his Instagram account though.
Are you implying Spann is jumping ship (*polite nod to Michael B. Phelps*) to go somewhere else as well??
Not sure but seems like it might be in protest at least. He hasn’t even acknowledged it and now she’s retweeting Alabama weather info again so maybe the counter coup was successful. Didn’t someone on here know her at least through mutual friends?

I've been told NBC 13 actually has the most immediate inclement weather coverage via the doppler tower they put up on 20/59 towards Tuscaloosa (i.e. where all the severe weather comes from). We, like most, default to Spann for severe weather. I think part of what makes him the best is having the greatest network of loyal amateur spotters and storm chasers, but I have no idea.

I've been traveling on 20, 59 & 65 a lot lately. We still got these damn left lane huggers holding up traffic in the extra lane areas and probably causing most of these wrecks that are turning the interstates into parking lots. I thought the state passed a law against this?????

Bow tie as opposed to suspenders, pet pic of the day voiceover impersonations, chopping it up with the weather kid of the week, rarely severe weather in the mornings. Hasn’t asked for payment! They’re doing short-term 3-month service plan and curb appeal upgrades for us, he quoted me a lump sum price, so I’m going to pay him once everything is completed or whenever he asks me to pay him which ever comes first.
Great weekend in Bham with a huge group of friends from high school. 18 of us ran rampant. Friday night dinner at Ovenbird was tremendous Hard boozing at Mayawells after Saturday all morning at the Grand Bohemian Pool. Total takeover Trimtab -> Dinner/drinks at Carrigans to get started. Then took over half of Collins Bar and ended up playing quarters for a few hours. We eventually got kindly asked to leave for being too loud (although I think they just wanted to turn the tables for people not just buying light domestics to play quarters). Night cap at Adios with about half the squad. All in all a fantastic weekend.
