You're welcome here but you're wrong. EtH spent all of last year pampering him and he didn't change. Sancho wasted a chance of a lifetime here.
Sancho doesn’t have Really comes down to this. ETH has given Sancho every opportunity to get his shit together. Even gave him like 4 months off last season to get his head right. Calling him out publicly feels like a last ditch effort by ETH to get him in line. Just can’t see how they resolve this after Sancho’s reaction.
I don’t even think he meant to call him out publicly. ETH is just a matter of fact person and the way he said it didn’t seem there was some agenda to it. He’s not Fergie. sancho has been plenty of time, the club has stuck with through all of it… and no one has scapegoated sancho. and for him to just go straight to social media lol. bye sancho, you unprofessional twat
It’s hard in the moment but always remember every manager is struggling to succeed in spite of the rotten core and ownership of the club. When everyone is healthy and not suspended, ETH will be able to create completion for places and build the culture. That’s hard to do right now. Casemiro for example needs Amrabat pushing him. Eriksen needs Mount. Lindelof needs Varane. Shaw and Reguilon. And we just need the width of our 200m of wingers. it’s going to be a long season and we finally have depth. Once it’s healthy we’ll start performing better especially when Hojlund gets a run and we consistently learn to anticipate his runs, which are excellent but our team has forgotten how to play with from years of not having a true #9.
Oh, also, De Gea keeps it 1-2 I was nervous about binning him to play some elegant elevated style of attacking football when the keeper’s key attribute is shot stopping Onana will come good but the average plastic fan has no clue how many matches DDG bailed us out of in the last ten years.
Will you or someone else give me the cliffs on the Glazers hate? It seems like they fund the team well?
The Glazers don’t fund the club at all. The club pays for itself. The Glazers have never put a single dollar of their own money in to the club. Yet they have taken over a billion out in dividend payments to themselves.
You have to understand how Financial Fair Play works United generate more organic revenue than basically any club in the world. That is all 100% applicable to transfers, unlike clubs like City or PSG or Chelsea that do not generate nearly as much organic revenue and have to receive infusions from their ownership groups. Their spending is limited by FFP rules that govern how much artificial revenue can be used on the transfer market (which, of course, City have violated but that’s another story). That delta that United can spend beyond its rivals, within the rules, has not been applied to the transfer market. It’s all been going straight to its owners pockets. It’s a handbrake that limits the club’s spending when it should be blowing all other clubs’ spending out of the water. When you see things like oh, United and City both have ~1b starting 11s, you might ask why United aren’t as good as City? That’s not the question: the question is why isn’t United’s starting 11 worth 1.5b? Why doesn’t it hoover up the best and most expensive youth team talent in the world and then later benefit from their sales or elevations to the first team (like Chelsea)? Why is our historic stadium crumbling and not being renovated like Barca or Real Madrid? It’s all because of the Glazers’ dividends to themselves, something no other Premier League club has to deal with.
The bigger issue than that is the spending was mostly done by Ed Woodward while also allowing him to play musical chair with managers
Easy there big fella. It was just a question. I see united fans constantly whine about the glazers. I was curious why. It can’t be outlays for players, seeing as united are one or two in spending the last 10 years or so. Thank you to the other poster for an actual response. Take a deep breath, it will be ok.
Maguire now “injured” and not traveling to Munich after reports he left the stadium minutes after the Brighton match ended.
So what now? Sancho just disappears the rest of the season and never plays again? ETH and Sancho need to makeup and move on.
The last part implies its disciplinary? I assume thats frowned upon and he knows it? If so he can fly a kite especially after he acted too good for West Ham I saw yesterday that barca were interested not sure I believe it. Also unless he publicly apologizes to EtH he can fly a kite too
A standard statement that says "I met with ETH and we've agreed there is a need for better dialogue moving. ETH and I have decided to move past our prior issues and start over. I look forward to rejoining the team in training soon". Boom all is fixed.
