They wanted someone who could do both in the summer. The decision to wait and just play Quansah was probably right, as he looks really good. But Gomez can’t be the backup lb and rb when he is so injury prone. In theory, Baj would probably be pretty decent at rb. Pretend we saved £40m on Quansah in the summer and go get someone. Owners want Klopp to extend more than anything, so I think they get someone.
