My dad is 70 years old and had a kidney transplant at Christmas just over a year ago. Some of the medication has fucked with his eyes where he recently developed cataracts to where he basically can't see right now until he can get a procedure, so my brother couldn't take him tonight. I talked to my brother on his way out of the game and he said my dad was basically in tears that he couldn't go and he's taking him no matter what next Sunday and hoping for the best. So in other words, my dad might die at Ford Field next week trying to use the bathroom or some shit but at least he'll get to experience a Lions' playoff home game for the first time in his life so that's nice.
