The 3*'s in our class will be the most interesting to watch play out because our staff seems to have a much different eval than the recruiting coverage industrial complex. They moved on them rather aggressively when there were higher ranked players that they easily could have had and they never backed off or tried to recruit over them. That may be a matter of philosophy, perhaps take guys with one elite trait you like and if it doesn't work just use the portal and process them to the MAC instead of the low end 4* that doesn't have the upside. Examples being: Styles Prescod Sean Sevillano Jack Larsen Teddy Rezac Karsen Hobbs Some of those are Cincy area schools and coaches where Freeman had a high hit rate with guys connected to a certain coach. Forget the exact details but everyone was up in arms but the takeaway was "The other players that Freeman recruited connected with that coach are ___ so we should probably trust him on that one."
So that Clearwater Academy school with some affiliation with Scientology that had a bunch of international D1 recruits dropped football. Probably an interesting story if anyone dove into. Don’t want to be labeled a suppressive person though.
