Looking at the past ones, it started at the beginning of the month (for obvious reasons) but it's only been 3 grids so far, I guess it just feels like it's been more frequent because most of us are using the same players over and over for the spaces each time they use it.

 

We used to make fun of Ron Darling’s 1986 Topps card because he looks like he’s wearing a blue garbage bag instead of a jersey.

 

I remember the rich kid on our legion team rocking one of those and was just fine with my Detroit Tigers satin dugout jacket

but going farther back I remember rocking the Cincy Reds plastic batting helmet Average Homeboy style because the C stood for Chris

back when I followed the NBA draft obsessively in high school I was absolutely transfixed by Pavel Podkolzin, it was back when every team was still looking for the next Dirk and Chad Ford had me convinced every 7 foot Euro was gonna be the next big thing
