We flipped from East Lake 4 years ago, were zoned for McNair so started a neighborhood petition for the 20 contiguous lots adjacent to Glenwood to be annexed into COA. Willis Park is fantastic and worth the drive past Medlock. Love the area, donated half my house to the thrift store who supports dog rescue. But never caught a single fish in your lake, believe the alleged fish are urban legends there.
Wednesday nights they have an additional Italian inspired “clam bake” menu. Didn’t really bother. But clams do be clamming.
This has been posted as an article before, but still, I found this video interesting. I'd love it if we had a feasible rail system.
Lads - Omakase Table, hoo boy. Easily the best meal I’ve had in Atlanta (drags it’s nutsack on Bacchanalia IMO) and possibly the United States. Top 5 ever Wow
Has anyone had all 3 of Mujo, Omakase Table, and Sushi Hayikawa? I've only had Mujo, which I loved btw.
“Here I am asking for help to get these monsters who did this to me and have done this to other people, and they’re the victim? That terrified me after that experience,” Rebel said. “These boys in blue are supposed to protect me and these ones wouldn’t even hear me.” -but seriously it's an actual quote in the article
My buddy was a victim at 5 paces. Dude is the nicest dude and will talk to anyone. Apparently goes to Buckhead one time for a buddies engagement party and ends up at 5 paces where he get a drug blown in his face and comes to in a car thinking he was about to die as they take him to atms and get over $10k from him. I guess he convinced them to let him go and take his card.
If half of the stories that come out of five paces were coming out of follies or magic city instead, they’d have shut that place down years ago
I’ve always read that the Devils Breath “blown in your face” is not a real thing, it wouldn’t impact you quickly enough for you to not know about it.
Idk man. Never had it happen to me and as someone who refuses to go to 5 paces I don’t really plan on it.
If Clown Baby posts my personal info one more time I will be forced to expose his chicanery to Atlanta News First
Found this thread, but I think it was before Omakase Table opened... Who is going to be the first to go to the 3 big ones? (Table, Mujō, Hayakawa)
Spring in Atlanta is elite. Took my niece to the botanical garden today and then lunch at Family Dog on the patio
The weather, plant bloom smells and having the tree canopy (along with baseball and golf really getting rolling) makes it the GOAT spring city. I think it was the first warm day after all the rain late last week when the blooming smells of spring arrived. Shit is intoxicating. (reserves right to bitch about pollen buildup in 2 weeks)
The botanical garden is such a gem. Going Saturday morning weather permitting as it’s peak time for blooms and spring birding is really ramping up. The orchid daze exhibit is really cool, too.
Went for a long run and now have the kids running through sprinklers in front yard. Nice day to work from home.
I've done all 3, but Omakase Table when it was at Brush in Decatur and Hayakawa when it was still on buford highway. Haven't been to the new locations. I'd rank them Omkase Table > Hayakawa >>>>> Mujo Mujo made me irrationally angry. Food is fine. But it's just that - fine. They're pricing it like it's something way better than it is.
Y’all would love it. If there’s better sushi in Atlanta, I haven’t had it yet. Cocktail program is top notch as well.
I think the carpenter bees are gonna finally destroy my deck this year. Must be hundreds of them out there.
