They were bubble for a top four seed at home. Now they’re probably a late 2 early 3. They sure do seem to run out of players due to injury about. Do they have less scholarships?
Don’t think so, just extremely unlucky it seems. Miles, Risch, Prosper, and, now Watson are hurt and should be contributing. Obima is out with a concussion but doesn’t play much, and I think Ceregul the walk on girl has a scholly now, so that’s 12. They carry a couple other girls too. i heard it mentioned some of them have doctor’s “orders” to wear shoes that aren’t UA, I’m starting to wonder if their women’s hoops shoes are just absolute dog shit or something and that’s contributing to the issues.
I read that women are also like 3x more likely than men to have ACL injuries but their string of luck is also incredibly bad. They need to look into how hard they practice, their strength and conditioning, etc and see if something is amiss or if it is just a bunch of derp circumstance
I will see myself out and If die in my sleep I will see you all in heaven after countless hours in purgatory
Backcourt of Hidlago - Miles - Citron - Bransford - Risch is crazy. Bigs are potentially Westbeld - Watson - Prosper - Koval. That's a scary ass team if half of them don't get hurt.
This is what I mean when I think about how shit Kelly did at certain positions every year. 2016 to 2018 Defensive Line: From debilitating weakness to perhaps the best front four only pass rush in the nation. 2016 to 2017 Offensive Line: Every unit stunk in 2016; these guys won the Joe Moore Award one year later. 2013-14-15-16-17 to 2018-19 Safeties: A whole lotta average (and worse) begat Gilman, Elliott, and ultimately Hamilton, too. 2013 to 2015 Running Backs: From McDaniel, Carlisle, and young Folston to Prosise and Adams (and injured Folston, unfortunately) 2022 to 2024 Quarterbacks: My goodness!! 2021 to 2023 Linebackers: They were largely the same people, only much, much better. 2021 to 2022-23-24 Cornerbacks:Remember the Fiesta Bowl? 2022-23 to 2024 Wide Receivers: We hope.
Today was a perfect example of how they’ll benefit from some extra pieces next year. The team needs a second ballhandler and having a big bodied guy like Sir Mohammed to bring the ball up the court should alleviate some pressure off of Burton. Certa can shoot the shit out of the ball and will be another option outside of lil Shrews to be a weapon outside (man was he good tonight). Another big is still the missing piece and where they need to go in the portal.
Ah fuck this is gonna suck. I wonder what he means by "restoring the culture". Fucking thing features Tuberville in the commercial.
The only lou holtz show i want to see is an in memoriam in the 3rd quarter of a syracuse game that i boo and all the gold seats look at me disapprovingly and try and get me kicked out of the game
There were some enlightening if not surprising 4HL threads on this topic that have been locked. I think I set a new personal best in the downvote category.
Don't shoot the messenger here but Trilly Donovan thinks Markus Burton may/probably will hit the portal.
Im not sure they will Wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s gone. O’Malley said the Lacrosse NIL is larger than men’s basketball
Made some comment about nd basketball being a farm for the rest of the acc like the acc is to nd for football too.
Calvin Booth's kid is going to be a good NBAer him and the PG are so so good, yall should be a tournament team next yr.
I hate how often we run pick and rolls with Njie. He can’t catch, dribble, or finish. It’s pointless and wasted possessions They need to put Booth or Davis in that action and put Njie in the dunkers spot if they are actually looking to put pressure on the defense
Burner account for some well connected agent or agent-adjacent guy...nailed like 99% of the transfer portal + coaching carousel last year a day or two in advance most times
I don't think Shrews would have taken the job if he had essentially no NIL support. Not sure he would have had this kind of team building strategy if he thought any good outcomes would be picked off Maybe I'm being too optimistic
I did not think Freidrechsin was much of a loss when he decommitted, but he’s a player. Wish we kept him
Burton being a local should be helpful, hopefully they can put together a competitive package for him. If he was from one of the coasts I'd already have him written off.
