We just fucking quit with about 7 min left. This is infuriating. One more game and the shit show is over. The defense is so fucking embarrassing. Can’t believe we never made any sort of adjustment/improvement throughout the year
Yea really. He's had a plan to force us into stuff and we've adapted absolutely fucking zero in 3 games. The last 10 minutes Nate just stood there and let us stand around 5 wide and do absolutely nothing.
weve gotten to the rim plenty and had plenty of open shots. We don’t make them. Plus our defense is the worst in the country bc our guys suck. Nothing Nate can do to fix it
Who has gotten to the rim June? And in what way? Have they been situations where we cleared the floor and had looks? Absolutely not, they have funneled our smallest guys and best shooters to the rim in the middle of the floor with 2 bigs waiting. Florida is absolutely giddy for our offense to be Mark driving the center of the floor. Our answer has been to just.......keep doing it. There's cheese in the mousetrap and we're just repeatedly sticking our hands in there. For 3 fucking games.
Sears passed on 2-3 open ass 3 pointers. Just to drive into the bigs and get destroyed. So fucking stupid.
We aren't getting good Alabama offense looks and the right people aren't shooting the majority of them. They've completely disrupted what we do for 3 straight games, and they aren't a great defensive team. They have a plan and they've executing it and we're just going through the same motions over and over and over.
We’re better with the ball in Estrada or Wrightsells hands. Sears has been awful on both ends it’s hard to watch
Wrightsell and Estrada have offense in the 3-6 foot range. Mark does not. It makes a huge frickin difference. Not to mention Mark driving takes him completely out of the catch and shoot game. It's a win win for them and we just keep throwing him out there in the same spot. Pretty damn frustrating.
Not gonna argue with someone about Nate’s ability on offense. The guy created hands down the greatest offense in the history of the program with this team. They are in a cold streak after injuries, etc. Golden and UF have been lucky as hell to catch us when they did.
Nates a great offensive coach. Our adjustments against Florida and others who have long personel and take away the 3 has been brutal. I don't think "take mid range jumpers" is the answer, but if there isn't an alternative in our offense to this situation then we're gonna have issues over and over unless we have the perfect personel at guard.
Offense is great during the regular season and will keep us in the tournament most years but defense and rebounding win in March.
oh thats a good one is great too. I prefer the “have a guy wide open in front of me but throw it cross court for a turnover”
What should he do man? The team has clear limitations and will just not match up against certain teams. They’ve had chances to convert at the rim, at the FT line and the 3 point line and haven’t.
