The husband of the property manager at my old cabins is a safety supervisor at a Tyson plant and boy have I heard some shit
Oh for sure, which is why it's great have immigrants coming in that do want those jobs. Both sides win.
Jesus, even the UK outright banned this stuff 25 years ago, and this place hates doing actual governing.
Unfortunately the Supreme Court still hasn't finished gutting the EPA and FDA, wouldn't be shocked if this was in practicality reversed soon.

Because the answer isn't to hire people so desperate to survive that theyll work at a dangerous job that pays shit. The answer is to regulate the hell out of those industries safety practices and force them to pay workers more.
I think his point is that these chicken processing centers are absolutely horrendous for the chickens and the humans, and really shouldn't exist in the first place.

Trump, from his book Art of the Comeback: "I believe that the movement against asbestos was led by the mob, because it was often mob-related companies that would do the asbestos removal. Great pressure was put on politicians, and as usual, the politicians relented. Millions of truckloads of this incredible fire-proofing material were taken to special “dump sites” and asbestos was replaced by materials that were supposedly safe but couldn’t hold a candle to asbestos in limiting the ravages of fire."
