I understand the sentiment of this. But the whole argument is about opening more doors in rules in order to allow for more reviews of more specific kinds of plays. And while the intent of that is generally good, the result of it is generally just more and more of what we already hate about the process. And there's not really a good answer on how to feasibly accomplish the good without the bad. Especially in college sports where it's just wild west stuff with not legitimate leadership.

I have zero problem with the game being extended a minute if they get the call right. And make it a challenge instead of an officials choice review to limit the number of times it happens. Volleyball’s challenge system works wonderfully.
