I was in NYC last weekend and stopped at all the watch boutiques which was a lot more enjoyable and exceeded what expectations I had. Looks like I’ll have my first and very probable only NATO strapped watch added to the collection. Should be here Monday

I will not be spending 700 on a g shock. I’ll have to find a different model since this is just a toy.

I ended up finding a cheapish White John Mayer Hodinkee Casio on reddit for 200 shipped so I pulled the trigger.
Step in the right directions for dimensions, but they won’t be able to get smaller than this 42mm version without switching to a different movement. At that point it almost feels like making the air cooled 911 a liquid cooled power plant. Also, why titanium?

IIRC they’ve done 40mm versions before (Hodinkee milspec) so I think they can manage a smaller movement

there was a time that i thought the sky dweller was the single ugliest watch ever made now? i would never spend money on it but i'd definitely wear it if i had one i wonder how my tastes will evolve and what changed my mind on the SD
